Online Shopping

As people continue to buy more items online, the clothing was a purchase that most PICKY school prefers to shop in a bricks and mortar. All this may soon change. Before discussing this, let's take a quick look at maintaining the status quo for the purchase of clothing in 2007:

Why People Buy Clothing online?

- Sometimes the clothing is less expensive
- You can buy your underwear
- No traffic / crowd
- You can compare several before choosing suppliers
- Do you have an unlimited number of inventory to choose from

Why do people buy Clothing offline?

- This is a social activity you undertake with friends
- They want to make sure it feels / fits right
- They want the advice of a salesman
- It is out of the house
I'm sure you can think of few more personal reasons, but those are the most common reactions.

We usually hear about advances in website technology that allows us to "make up" for the lack of real life online. I do not cover that here (perhaps in another post), as there are others who have posted about this elsewhere on the Internet. My concern is less often discussed revitalization of the brick and mortar shops for clothing. Over the last few months, many department stores, as well as special clothing stores, have worked hard to bring people back to shopping offline.
